Emma Jean Foster hosts the Sunday Night Blues and Soul Jam at Swig, located at 561 Geary Street in San Francisco, with the open mic jam running from 9pm until around 1am. Musicians are encouraged to bring their instruments and join the band, making it an interactive experience for both performers and audience members.

The living room furniture has been pushed to the walls, transforming the space into an impromptu dance floor. String lights crisscross the ceiling, casting a warm amber glow that pulses in time with the bass. In the corner, DJ Pigtails commands the room from behind a modest setup of turntables and a laptop, their signature twin braids bouncing as they nod along to the beat.

DJ Pigtails reads the room expertly, switching tempos when the energy dips, throwing in unexpected remixes of crowd favorites.
